The Preterm Birth Initiative hosts an annual prematurity symposium, uniting colleagues from all six of our California and East Africa geographies, showcasing PTBi's work over that year, presenting the latest prematurity research, and facilitating the exchange of ideas amongst investigators and stakeholders within the PTBi network. The location alternates each year between one of PTBi's California or East Africa locations.
The program of events will change each year, but generally include a keynote, presentations, breakout sessions and an opportunity to network with health professionals, scientists and policy experts.
Registration is closed: We have closed registration to the 2017 Annual PTBi Prematurity Symposium, which will convene on World Prematurity Day, Friday, November 17th, in San Francisco. This year's engaging keynote speaker is Lateefah Simon, MacArthur Fellow, president of the Akonadi Foundation and member of the San Francisco BART Board of Directors.
